EASTER SUNDAY BLUESATHON DELIVERS TO HEART OF BAJA
On Monday, April 20, BAHS delivered 506lbs / 223kgs of food to Heart of Baja.
On Easter Sunday, April 12, The Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS) hosted an 8-hour live blues telethon featuring interviews, live performances, and more. The event helped BAHS continue its mission to fight hunger with the blues and to continue supporting its community partners. The event raised the funds necessary to purchase food for community partners in each community a BAHS chapter serves.
One such partner is Hearts of Baja (www.heartsofbaja.com), a 501(c)(3) organization that provides support to 23+ orphanages in Rosarito, Baja California. The Rosarito Chapter of BAHS has had Hearts of Baja as a community partner since 2018.
Each of BAHS Chapter board will be receiving funds for purchasing what they need locally and will report back on their total weight. Thank you to everyone that donated on Easter Sunday, you are helping BAHS continue our mission.
The Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS) began in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico in 2013. Today we have grown into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization ending hunger with blues music. Our mission is to produce live blues events that encourage the collection and distribution of food and basic human needs. We now have weekly food drive Jamborees in multiple cities in multiple countries. We are feeding thousands and growing.
Please consider joining our family. Whether a blues fan, music lover, or humanitarian, we invite you to join BAHS, and see how you can be a part of our movement.
